Spiritual Gift

Spiritual gifts are not natural talents and aptitudes or developed skills we are given those by God. But a gift of the Spirit is something that development steps in a life of faith, it is to find out your experience through the purpose for each one of us are given. Sometimes I thought the spiritual gifts seem to identify against our natural ability. There are people who aren't highly skilled as other people but when the time comes for us to help people or passion, the gifts are there. I have never thought of how I know about myself in spiritual way because I actually didn't think it is necessary for me to discover. But I learned that God has given fairly to all of us just like he loves us.

November 17th

Today was the last day of Mrs.Gunther's lesson. We still continued on the SDS test and generally rape up the thoughts what we learned in last few days. I had bring my dream since when I was young and my dream has been change several times. I have thought of prospect for my future and what I want to be. But I'm always not sure if I am really on the right position so I'm sure my mind is going to be change again. At one time, I actually thought thinking about the careers would be early for us to decide. But through these lessons I got to learned deeply about myself and some idea of what is the best for me to plan out I would like to do later on. I hope I could find my path that is for me. I want to make my life unique in this world for later in my life and have my life mean something.

Learning Style&SDS

Today, we were able to get back the result we took on learning style test. I went through them and I realized most of them I answered didn't explain clearly that it was confusing because it can be use in more than one way. I don't know what prefers the best way for me to learn. To summarize my scores, I have no strong preference learning in anyways like auditory, visual, tactile and kinesthetic ways but if I would pick what I think better way to learn is kinesthetic so I should concentrate better and feel easy to learn myself when acting out or using certain materials. On the other hand my strong preferences are that I prefer a quiet place when I study, I want structure, I avoid something that would distract while learning, I mostly like to learn and study in afternoon and lastly I don't prefer mobility. But in general it was my good opportunity to look over about what kind of ideas people prefer how to overcome learning difficult things I need to get done. Also to interpret my result, I should think in each area is the most important and best for me to do. Through this test, I got to learned what learning styles people prefer and I have to understand we all learn and study differently from other.

After that we continued the SDS test from last class. It actually takes me time to think things I like to do or not and I want to think deeply about it so that I can be successful at what I want to do.

Personality Type

We took the learning style and personality type test in the class. In result on the learning style, it is difficult me to concentrate when there is noise and other people are around so I required study and learn in a quiet environment that cannot be distracting from working what do I need to get done. Also, I would like to do my work in formal and traditional style in better achievement.

For the personality test, I was able to reflect on myself and it was my opportunity for me to think who I am. It helps me to find my strengths and weaknesses to the best path, then I went reading through them and I agree with most of them. I was first afraid to take the test because I didn't want to judge on my personality and being compared to other people's result. But I realized there is nothing good or bad, it actually helps me to understand the importance of my my style. In addition, I think our personalities are unique that each individuals have different and it relate us in finding what we are going to be in the future that will make us interesting on the kind of work and satisfied with it.

Being a coolest person in the school, being popular, having pretty clothes and making many money when you grow up that does not mean you can be successful in the future. You have all the good things but when everything are gone from you, you have nothing but yourself. So again this activity makes me think about importance of my character.

Value

For today's lesson, we were told to cut the career values and order them from what you think is the most important to thing that is not important. It was really hard for me to list them because I couldn't decide whether this or this is more important. I guess everyone were not put in same order as others since we all have different thoughts and going through the different goal to reach. I quickly looked at what my neighbors did and I found that most of people put "being successful" as their top goal which is what I did as well. Then I thought again to myself if being successful is really what I want. Of course, I want to live in a wonderful life and get a job I want even though if I won't be able to achieve my goal I will have to appreciate just for right now that I have a gifted talent from God and serve others. I might change my mind later on but I would try to keep in mind.

Talents

-God says we all have talents.

Talent define "a destructive idea that are talents are limited to Extra ordinary Ability." It was interesting that "talent" can be gold as well. I think because I guess it means how talents are expensive and valuable as gold.Some of might having hard time seeking their own talents but God has given a talent to everyone else. I think talent is unique because you have something special that shows who you are and not lot of people don't have same talents as you. Honestly, I'm having a hard time looking for my talent. When I learned first time about talent I couldn't understand how God has given the talent to everyone because I don't see my talent in myself. Some people are born to be have natural ability at many things like musical, leadership and artistic.

I can choose my career by making a decision about what I really want to do and what I am good at. Also a job that I would enjoy working through my life. Even though there has been lot of changes about men and women's equality in our generation, people say that they still have difference. But I don't understand and why people have such stereotyped in their mind. I think choosing my career would influence my friends but the biggest part is my parents. My parents have said that I can decide what I want to become in the future but still they help me going to the right way and support me with my decisions and give good opinions. If you read the Bible it can be influence in career choices. The Bible refers many helps from our life. For example, Proverbs talks about how we should make choice and not to make. By this lesson I got to learn and look back from very past and through the time where I got till here. Now I realized how seriously I have to make a decision to myself about my future. But as I grow older I am getting more responsibility in many ways and learned that positive and negative choices are real.
